Our Event
We plan the free general medical camps in the villages where the people couldn’t access even the basic medical facility such as primary health centers and nursing stations.
This is the first camp and program organized by our team under the guidance of Dr. Murali Kannan M.B.B.S. The camp was conducted at Nedungulum village in Madurai. About 127 people benefited through this camp.
Our self-help training programs is one of the way to achieve the women empowerment in villages. We provide trainings to the housewives and unemployed young girls to help them stabilize economically.
We focus on providing awareness to the children about their rights and safety in their schools and the community.
Apart from the academic knowledge we provide trainings on lifeskills and leadership skills to children and youth which will develop their cognitive behavior and build their capacity.
Life skills workshop was conducted at St.Antony’s girl’s higher secondary school. Mr.N.Yathinthar, Executive Director, Ms.B.Renuka Devi, Director of Program development department and Mr.K.Krishna Ashok, Director of Program operations department of Illozhithozham were the resource persons of the program. 52 students were participated and benefited from this workshop.
Lack of awareness is major reason for several social issues. We are conducting awareness programs to fill the knowledge gap in the society.
An awareness program was conducted at Indira nagar colony, Madurai to create awareness on open defecation and its effects in environment. DR.R.Jeyapandi, Assistant professor of Department of Biochemistry, The American college, Madurai was the resource person. 40 people were participated and got benefited from this program.
An awareness program on mensural cycle and women empowerment was conducted at Government High school, Virathanoor, Madurai. Ms.B.Renuka Devi, Director of Program development department and Mr.N.Yathinthar, Executive Director of Illozhithozham team were the resource persons. About 81 students were participated and benefited in this program.
An awareness program on Career guidance and Substance abuse was conducted at Harvipatti, Madurai. Ms.B.Renuka Devi, Director of Program development department and Mr.N.Yathinthar, Executive Director of Illozhithozham team were the resource persons. About 41 children were participated and benefited in this program.
Serving the people in their tough times especially during some natural calamities is done by our team very efficiently.
